This morning David, Milo and I enjoyed a crisp -8C with our breakfast. There is no denying it, Winter is coming. We have had some major delays in updating our blog with some technical issues, don't think that we aren't having a great time, we are! We will try to sort something out so we can have more regular updates.
We have been enjoying a rather slow pace from Toronto to Oil City but after last nights cold weather we are eager to move South. Pennsylvania is such a great state! The people are so warm and there is free camping galore! We found that every tree in New York State was marked with a NO TRESPASSING sign. As soon as we crossed the border into PA, those were replaced with FREE CAMPING signs. We also had a laugh after our first stop in PA, a bank. Once I left the bank (we still haven't been able to exchange our Canadian money) we were surrounded by a crowd (three's a crowd right) of PA residents eager to say hello or lend a hand with directions or offer a place to stay. I LOVE Pennsylvania! And the dumpsters are OVERFLOWING! We have had much success behind the US grocery stores. Every bin seems to be filled with day past due food that is good enough for me. We have been living like kings! We have spent about $35 so far, in almost 1 week, mostly on maps, we will need another soon when we enter Ohio. I have too much to tell and not enough time to type it as my library computer clock tick tick ticks away - more later. Much love from D, Milo and I xoxo H
